Employment Issues

The European Employment Strategy is one of the key actions at European level to combat unemployment and increase employment rates. This common strategy of the EU Members States is based on an integrated approach involving various supply- and demand-oriented policies.

The implementation of the Employment Strategy is based on partnership. Social partners are considered crucial actors for successful implementation at all levels.
