This policy comprises: promoting entrepreneurship throughout the EU, reducing red tape at European and Member State level, stimulating the adoption of information/communication technologies and electronic commerce, improving innovation, research and development, improving access to finance for SME's, stimulating the internationalisation of European businesses, improving the access to the Internal market for SME's, offering top-class business support services.

UEAPME concentrates a great part of its activities in monitoring the developments of the multi-annual programme for SMEs and Craft/Trades.
