Access to Justice

UEAPME monitors several legislative initiatives that have the goal of facilitating the resolution of disputes in all areas of the Internal Market. Currently, UEAPME is following the European Commission’s project to set up rapid and cheaper solutions to disputes in the Internal Market. UEAPME is also participating in the Consultation on Payment Procedures and Small Claim Litigation that concerns procedures for claims that are presumed to remain uncontested on one hand and, on the other hand, proceedings concerning litigation on small claims. UEAPME also follows the European Commission’s work on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
