A UEAPME delegation held a bilateral meeting with Employment and Social Affairs Commissioner Spidla on 17th May.

The delegation presented the organisation and its activities and used the opportunity to outline the priorities for small and medium enterprises in the area of employment and social policy.

One of the key focuses of the meeting was restructuring. UEAPME called on the Commissioner to ensure Member States did more to take account of the particular needs of SMEs in restructuring processes.
