Secretary General Hans-Werner Müller led a UEAPME delgeation, which met with President of the European Council and Ecofin, Jean-Claude Juncker, as well as representatives from the European Central Bank and from the finance ministries of the forthcoming two presidencies, the UK and Austria.

At the meeting the UEAPME delegation stressed the need to focus on needs of SMEs as part of the Lisbon review if the European economy is to be successful. Mr Müller also outlined some of the key SME priorities in the economic and financial area.
