IPP- Awareness raising project

In the framework of a project funded by the Danish Environment Protection Agency our Danish member Handvaerstadet together with PlanMiljø (a private consultancy) have as task to raise the awareness of small businesses regarding IPP issues.

The project consists in a first instance in identifying existing tools specifically designed to help SMEs and in particular micro-businesses in the most relevant aspects of IPP and selecting a few. The tools selected will then be adapted and disseminated to small businesses across Europe.
Based on the Danish experience which revealed that SMEs have a particular interest for tools relating to energy savings, it was decided to concentrate on the following tools:

• an energy saving web tool
• a web page for eco-design Energy saving web tool
  
  

This web page focuses on measures to save energy and monitor the energy consumption of one's businesses.
The target group of this web page is micro-businesses.
