MEDAPME

The aims of the programme are:

• To reinforce the PO of craft, trades and SMEs from the Mediterranean countries in order to allow them to be independent and effective representatives of their members, and to permit them to benefit from quality services and assistance from their PO.
• To enable the Euro-Mediterranean POs to exchange and conclude joint partnership projects.

In order to achieve these aims, the project is based on two axes:

• 1st: The creation of a MEDAPME PO network in the Mediterranean zone. This network will be the partner of UEAPME, in particular, and will benefit from the transfer of know-how and best practices of its European partners on all levels (legislative, training and promotion of skills, organisation and functioning).
• 2nd: The creation of a Permanent Platform for Exchanges, (MEDAPLATFORM), comprising human resources, new information and communication technologies (NICT), in order to be the instrument of MEDAPME for assisting the realisation of Euro-Mediterranean co-operation projects.
