The Chamber of Crafts and Small Industries in Munich and Upper Bavaria has 59,000 member companies with 345.000 employees including about 30,000 apprentices. It runs eight professional training and technology centres, three academies and nine schools for master-education where training measures and measures of vocational education on all levels are offered. Among these measures there are for almost all of the 94 different professions:

• instruction-lessons for apprentices which complement to the practical training at work on a more professional and theoretical level.
  
  
• vocational educational training in the field of technical, administrative and creative work leading to government-recognised degrees
  
  
• professional training for future masters in theoretical, administrative, legal as well as educational aspects
