Economic OverviewsIntroduction to EnlargementThis section of the website gives a brief overview on facts and figures of the enlargement and of the new Member States. In the context of the project, four fact sheets have been produced to give an introduction to enlargement. The first provides some statistics; the second gives a background to the Enlargement process. In the third document a short presentation of the situation by policy area can be found and in the fourth the expectations for the future.
