EURO BRANDING

 

The following indicators for best Euro practice were observed in the coverage:

 

 

ü      Euro label (Circle of stars) on front page (five publications)

ü      Euro label (Currency logo) on front page (four publications)

ü      EMU timetable included (two publications)

ü      Pictures / images of Euro coins & bills (three publications)

 

All media items included at least one of the value indicators.  Almost all media tools featured the circle of stars on the front page, the currency logo appeared on four of the covers.  The emphasis on the EMU timetable and images of euro bills and coins was not predominant, with around 50% of the coverage carrying these values.
