UEAPME is offering an internship for an economist

Background: UEAPME is the employers’ organisation representing the interests of European crafts, trades and SMEs at EU level. UEAPME is a recognised European Social Partner. It is a non-profit seeking and non-partisan organisation and represents about 12 million enterprises, which employ around 55 million people across Europe.

Twice a year, the UEAPME Study Unit publishes the EU Craft and SME Barometer that is built on the results of surveys conducted by UEAPME member organisations all over Europe. The survey is based on about 120.000 questionnaires, with 30.000 answers received.

Vacancy: UEAPME is looking for an economist for a 3-month internship (negotiable) for the UEAPME Study Unit.

Profile of the candidate:

  • University bachelor degree in economics.
  • Be in a master course or about to start one.
  • Good writing and editing skills in English.
  • Good organisational skills: flexibility, sense of initiative, ability to prioritise, capability to operate effectively in a small and busy multicultural environment.
  • ICT literacy, in particular excellent knowledge of Excel required.

This position is full time starting from no later than beginning of September for a period of three months (negotiable). Benefits include a small internship compensation.
