Lisbon strategy for growth and jobs
The Lisbon Strategy (2000 – 2010) was decided by the European Council in Lisbon (June 2000) as the general European policy strategy for growth, employment, social inclusion and sustainability, aiming to become the most competitive economy at the world. The Lisbon Strategy was reviewed in 2005, when economic growth and employment were prioritised.
