European Social Policy, including the renewed social agenda, the flexicurity approach, the Employment Strategy and the modernisation of the European Social Model has over the years become one of the main pillars of European action, reinforced by the integrated Lisbon strategy for growth and jobs.

UEAPME, as employers’ organisation and European social partner representing very small, small and medium size companies, has an active role to play in order to defend the opinions and interests of its members across the broad range of issues dealt with in European Social Policy.
